FOR SOLO PRACTITIONERS
The operational foundation for your practice— built properly from the start.
You went into this work because of the clinical side. The business side came with it — and it's maybe taking more from you than it should.
Whether you're setting up your first systems or preparing to bring on your first clinician, the operational work is the same kind of work: it needs to be done well, it needs to reflect the regulatory environment you operate in, and it needs to be built for where you're headed — not just where you are today.
These are defined, project-based engagements with clear scope and deliverables. Not ongoing support. Not a course. An actual build, done with you.
STARTING OUT
Practice Set-Up Package
The systems, workflows, and messaging your practice needs to stop quietly depending on you for everything.
Best fit if you're in the earlier stages of private practice and the operational side needs to be set up properly. The clinical work is solid — but the intake process, the admin workflows, the SOPs, and the messaging haven't been built with the same care. This package fixes that.
This isn't ongoing admin support. It's a defined build with a clear scope, timeline, and deliverable. You walk away with systems that work — not a strategy document to figure out on your own.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
-
Intake and client onboarding system setup
-
Core SOPs for your most repeated processes
-
Website and messaging review
-
Basic admin workflow structure
-
Documentation that means someone else could step into the operational side without you explaining everything from scratch

GROWING YOUR TEAM
First Hire Readiness Package
The operational groundwork your practice needs before bringing on your first clinician.
The operational groundwork your practice needs before your first clinician starts — not after.
Most solo practitioners get the clinical decision right. They find someone with the right specialty, the right fit, the right energy for the practice. And then the first month is quieter than expected — because the website still reads as a solo practice, the marketing wasn't ready, the onboarding existed only in the owner's head.
This package is built around that gap. It covers the visibility infrastructure, the operational prep, and the relational groundwork that makes a first hire actually work — for you, for your new clinician, and for the clients you're both there to serve.
This isn't onboarding paperwork. It's everything that needs to be in place before day one.

-
Capacity map — your current clinical hours, admin hours, and what leadership of a new clinician will realistically add
Phase 2 — Operational Prep

Schedule design recommendations based on actual demand gaps

New clinician bio write-up, framed for your practice's positioning

Phase 4 — Handoff
-
Summary document — what was done, what's ready, what you need to action yourself
-
First 30 days checklist for after the clinician starts
-
Leadership transition guide — what changes when you're no longer just a clinician: blocking time for check-ins, giving feedback within contractor boundaries, protecting your own caseload
-
Pay split worksheet — a framework to think through rate structure (with a note to confirm with your accountant)
WHY WORK WITH ME ON THIS
I spent years working as a clinical VA inside Canadian healthcare practices — close enough to watch these transitions unfold in real time. I saw what happened when the visibility prep wasn't done, when the onboarding existed only in the owner's head, when the scheduling conversation happened without the right data. Working inside a practice as a VA, you're often informed after decisions are made — or mid-transition, when the groundwork has already been skipped. You can see what's happening, but the role doesn't position you to get ahead of it.
That's a large part of why I do this work now. I understand the Canadian regulatory context, I've seen the specific patterns that make first hires harder than they need to be, and I build the infrastructure before the clinician starts — so the transition is ready when they are, not catching up to them.

WHAT THESE PACKAGES HAVE IN COMMON
Both packages are built with the same depth and clinical awareness as the full Practice Builder engagements. The regulatory context matters at every stage — whether you're setting up your first intake workflow or onboarding your first contractor. The difference is scope and scale, not quality.
How payment works.
All projects follow a simple three-stage structure.
