Rooted Within

Unwind & Find Presence

Angie is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT), who weaves together trauma-informed practices and therapeutic support for those navigating stress, anxiety, and neurodivergence. Her clinical case study explored the effectiveness of yoga therapy in supporting the mental health of individuals who began identifying as Autistic later in life - an area that continues to inform her approach and inspire her work. With deep respect for each individual’s unique nervous system, she offers yogic practices as a gentle path not only toward grounding and self-understanding, but also toward recognizing one’s own resilience and inner strength. Whether in group classes or one-on-one sessions, her goal is to create a space that feels like home - where healing can unfold and authenticity is welcomed.

Exploring with Curiosity

Throughout the session, compassionate curiosity will play a key role to help find what may be at the root of the concerns you are experiencing. Working with the Integrated Systems Model (Lee & Lee), Angie will help you uncover what may be the driver of your pain or discomfort and help you put a protocol together specifically for you and your body.

Embodied Healing

Throughout our time together, you will experience yoga practices and philosophies in an embodied way. You'll likely learn the science behind what we are working on from your cardiovascular system to nervous system but never at the expense of encouraging self-care and relaxation in support of healing.

Personalized Holistic Approach

A personalized therapeutic modality designed to help you reach your physical, mental and/or emotional goals. Blending Western psychology and anatomy with ancient yogic techniques and philosophies, it is a client-led holistic modality that empowers you to take an active role in your healing.

Supported Well-Being

Yoga Therapy can be used as a complementary approach to support individuals with various health concerns. Whether you are wanting to improve your mobility and posture, managing chronic pain, or supporting yourself through anxiety or depression, Therapeutic Yoga may benefit you physically, mentally and emotionally.

Cedar Coast Collective draws inspiration from the landscape that we call home - the unceded territories of xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver. The name symbolizes our aim of helping people like you feel grounded, connected, and part of a community - fully present, feet firmly planted where you are.

About Angie

I’m a certified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist with a Diploma in Yoga Therapy from the Vancouver School of Healing Arts (VSOHA). My own journey with yoga began 16 years ago as a gentle way to release tension and manage the ongoing effects of anxiety. Over time, I came to understand yoga not just as movement, but as a powerful tool for healing - one that supports the whole person: body, mind, and nervous system.

With a foundation in trauma-informed care and a deep respect for the nervous system, my approach integrates principles from anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and psychology. I offer therapeutic yoga sessions that are slow, compassionate, and rooted in presence - creating space for you to reconnect with your body, feel grounded, and move at a pace that feels safe. My work is guided by the belief that healing doesn’t require pushing - it requires listening.

The session was ever thing I could ask for - educational, healing, empowering. I was able to see anger, stress, anxiety in my body and tissues and was able to release some of it/a lot of it. I am also taking home a short practice I could use for self-help and relaxation. Thank you Angie!
