PRACTICE BUILDER ·  CEDAR COAST COLLECTIVE

Practice operations & infrastructure for allied health practitioners and practice owners across Canada.

I work with mental health therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, and other allied health practitioners across Canada — from solo private practice to growth-stage clinics — to build the operational foundation underneath the clinical work. The programs, systems, workflows, and infrastructure that make it possible to run well without the business quietly depending on you for everything.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You got into this work because of the clinical side. But somewhere along the way, you also became the person responsible for everything underneath it — the admin, the systems, the decisions that seem small until they're not, and the programs that exist in your head but haven't been built yet.

That's not a personal failing. It's what happens when a practice grows faster than the infrastructure underneath it. And it's solvable — with the right structure in place.

WHAT I DO

From Vision to Infrastructure.

I work with allied health practitioners and practice owners across Canada to build the operational foundation underneath the clinical work — at whatever scale the practice actually needs right now.

That means sitting down with you to understand the whole picture, then building it out: clinical program frameworks, compliant branding and messaging, intake and admin systems, SOPs, team communication structures, and workflows that make day-to-day operations consistent. I think it through with you and then I build it.

This is project-based work with a clear scope, timeline, and deliverable. You get someone with real experience across Canadian allied health environments — someone who understands the regulatory context, knows what's actually creating friction, and builds the structure to fix it. Not a strategy doc to implement on your own. An actual build, done with you.

What I build with you:

  • Intake and client onboarding systems

  • Clinical program structure and documentation

  • Brand messaging and website copy (compliant with your regulatory requirements)

  • Internal SOPs and decision rules

  • Admin workflows and communication systems

  • Team training and handoff materials

  • Pre- and post-launch planning for programs or major practice changes

What this work actually fixes.

Most people come to this work because something has started to strain. Often it's more than one thing.

If you're running a solo practice:

  • Admin and intake are taking more time than they should, and nothing is quite systematized

  • You're making the same decisions repeatedly because they've never been documented

  • Your messaging or website doesn't reflect where the practice actually is

  • The operational side is manageable — but only because you're personally holding all of it

If you're running a practice with a team:

  • Intake feels inconsistent — clients experience it differently depending on who's handling it

  • Admin and decisions keep routing back to you, even things that shouldn't require you

  • Programs or offerings exist in your head but haven't been structured or documented

  • Your team doesn't have a clear system to follow, so they rely on asking you

This is normal. It's also what happens when a practice grows faster than the infrastructure underneath it. And it's solvable.

Built for practitioners who went into this work to do the clinical part.

If you're a mental health therapist, physiotherapist, acupuncturist, RMT, naturopath, or other allied health practitioner in Canada — and the operational side of your practice is taking more from you than it should — this work is probably relevant to you.

That might look different depending on where you are:

You're running a solo private practice and need the systems, workflows, and messaging set up properly so the business stops leaking time and energy. The clinical work is solid. The infrastructure underneath it isn't quite there yet.

Or you're running a practice with 2–10 clinicians and have outgrown the systems you started with. The programs, the brand, the operational structure — it's all needed to grow alongside the practice, and it hasn't.

The common thread in both cases: you're a clinician first, and the business side is heavier than it should be.

HOW THIS WORK IS DIFFERENT

Clinical fluency, not just marketing.

Allied health practices operate inside a specific regulatory environment. I understand the compliance constraints, know where the lines are, and build messaging and systems that work within them — not around them.

Thinking and building.

You won't get a strategy document to implement on your own. I sit down with you to understand the whole picture, and then I build it out with you. The thinking and the doing happen in the same engagement.

Designed for your whole life.

The point isn't just a bigger practice. It's a practice that holds what you've built — without you personally holding all of it. Structure and clarity are what make it possible to do good clinical work without the business quietly taking over.

A RECENT PROJECT

Five months, one integrated build.

A practice owner in British Columbia came to me with a clear clinical vision and a practice that couldn't hold it yet. The programs they wanted to offer existed in their head — the frameworks, the language, the patient pathways — but none of it had been built out. The messaging didn't reflect where the practice was headed. And they were carrying nearly all of it alone.

Over five months, we built the infrastructure to match the vision. That meant developing the website copy and messaging strategy, structuring the clinical programs and patient pathways, and creating the materials to support them. It meant writing the admin SOPs and team training documentation so every person in the practice could deliver a consistent experience. Designing the intake workflows and onboarding automations. Developing the video sales letter and overseeing production through to final delivery. And building a detailed pre- and post-launch plan — team development, marketing, and the indicators to watch.

The practice now has a complete, cohesive foundation. Programs documented. Messaging aligned. Systems in place. A team that knows how everything runs. What had been living in one person's head is now something the whole practice can operate on.

Super kind, super capable, hyper-organized, amazing communication, easy to work with, truly cares about the quality of work and relationship that she develops with her client. Most important of all — allows me to sleep at night, knowing that she is holding my project and I don't have to worry about balls being dropped. It is a no-brainer to connect and benefit from Angie's skills and potential to bring your project to places you'd never get it on your own.

This is not a course, a template, or a strategy doc you take away and implement yourself. It's a complete build, done with you.

Where do you fit?

Some practitioners are in the earlier stages of private practice — the clinical work is solid, but the systems, workflows, and messaging underneath it need to be set up properly. That's the Practice Setup Package.

Others are at the point of bringing on their first clinician and need the operational groundwork — demand analysis, onboarding documentation, visibility prep, and leadership transition planning — in place before day one. That's the First Hire Readiness Package.
